Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to this website and any request for quotes, dispatch coordination, freight movement, or related logistics support provided by JIDO FREIGHT LLC. By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you,” “shipper,” “broker,” “customer,” or “user”) and JIDO FREIGHT LLC (“JIDO FREIGHT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an American motor carrier operating under MC 1174807 and DOT 3529949, with offices at 25701 North Lakeland Blvd, Suite 113B, Euclid, OH 44132.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree, do not use the website or request services.

2. Description of Services

JIDO FREIGHT provides truckload, expedited, dedicated, and related logistics services across the contiguous United States, together with website content, inquiry forms, phone and SMS communications, and dispatch coordination. Service availability depends on equipment, lanes, weather, hours-of-service rules, facility constraints, and other operating conditions.

Information on the website — including coverage maps, transit examples, capacity statements, and performance figures — is provided for general illustration. It is not a guarantee of pickup, delivery, equipment type, rate, or transit time unless confirmed in a written rate confirmation, bill of lading, or other transportation contract accepted by us.

3. Quotes, Bookings, and Transportation Documents

A website inquiry or verbal discussion is not a booking. A shipment is booked only when we issue or accept a rate confirmation or comparable written authorization and a bill of lading is issued for the load.

  • Quoted rates may expire, change with fuel, accessorials, detention, layover, lumper, team service, or special equipment, or be withdrawn if freight details were incomplete.
  • You are responsible for accurate commodity descriptions, weight, dimensions, piece count, pickup and delivery windows, appointment requirements, and any hazardous or restricted-status disclosures.
  • The bill of lading, rate confirmation, and applicable tariffs or rules circulars control in the event of conflict with marketing copy on this website.
  • We may refuse freight that is misdeclared, unsafe, illegal, inadequately packaged, or outside our operating authority or insurance profile.

4. Customer Obligations

When you tender freight or use our coordination services, you agree to:

  • Provide complete and truthful shipment information before dispatch.
  • Ensure freight is properly packaged, labeled, blocked, and braced for over-the-road movement.
  • Make freight available at the agreed pickup window and secure timely unloading at destination, including appointments where required.
  • Pay all agreed freight charges, accessorials, and lawful charges within the stated credit terms. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, freight charges are due from the bill-to party identified on the rate confirmation.
  • Comply with FMCSA, DOT, CBP, and other applicable laws, including those covering hazardous materials, food safety, and export/import documentation when relevant.

5. Prohibited or Restricted Freight

Unless we expressly agree in writing in advance, you may not tender illegal goods, improperly declared hazardous materials, certain high-value unescorted commodities outside our accepted profile, livestock, human remains, or freight requiring special permits we have not arranged. We may cancel a booking without liability if restricted freight is discovered after tender.

6. Liability, Claims, and Insurance

Carrier liability for cargo loss or damage, if any, is governed by the bill of lading, the Carmack Amendment where applicable, released-value or limitation terms stated in the rate confirmation or rules circular, and any separately purchased cargo coverage. Website statements about safety culture or claims handling do not expand legal liability.

Claims must be filed in writing within the time limits required by law and the controlling transportation documents. Concealed damage should be reported promptly after delivery. Failure to note exceptions at delivery may affect claim evaluation. We are not liable for delay caused by weather, highway closures, shipper or consignee acts, force majeure, customs, or other events beyond reasonable control.

7. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful business inquiries related to our services. You agree not to:

  • Interfere with site security, scrape content in an abusive manner, or introduce malware.
  • Submit false contact details or impersonate another person or company.
  • Use automated systems that degrade site performance or harvest contact information for unsolicited marketing.
  • Copy branding, copy, or layout for competing commercial use without permission.

We may suspend access, ignore abusive inquiries, or take other reasonable steps to protect the site and our operations.

8. Communications, SMS, and RingCentral

If you provide a phone number or email, you consent to operational communications about quotes, dispatch, tracking updates, appointments, and customer support. Where you opt in to SMS, message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

We may use RingCentral and similar platforms to place or receive calls and messages. Call and message metadata may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent to operational messaging is not a condition of purchasing transportation services where prohibited by law, but we may still need a working contact method to execute a live shipment.

9. Intellectual Property

The JIDO FREIGHT name, logo, site design, copy, photographs, and other content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to view the site for internal business evaluation. No trademark or copyright license is granted beyond that limited use.

10. Third-Party Sites and Tools

The website may link to third-party sites, maps, analytics, or communication tools. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content, outages, or data handling except as required by law.

11. Disclaimers

THE WEBSITE AND RELATED INFORMATIONAL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Transportation services, when booked, are provided subject to the controlling shipping documents rather than website marketing language.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JIDO FREIGHT AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS, OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM WEBSITE USE OR RELIANCE ON SITE CONTENT. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM WEBSITE USE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100). Cargo liability for booked shipments is solely as set out in Section 6 and the transportation documents.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JIDO FREIGHT from claims, losses, damages, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of your breach of these Terms, inaccurate shipment information, unsafe or illegal freight, or your misuse of the website or communications channels.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and applicable United States federal transportation law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue for disputes arising from website use shall lie in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, except where federal transportation law requires another forum for cargo claims.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes to booked transportation remain subject to the documents in effect for that shipment.
